ABB’s latest Terra 184 EV chargers have been selected by Japan’s e-Mobility Power Co., Inc, a JV between Tokyo Electric Power Company and Chubu Electric Power, to modernize the infrastructure for its EV market. The financial details of the order were not dislosed. The project aims to help push Japan to increase the share of EVs and plug-in hybrids to between 20 to 30 percent by 2030, from just 1 percent in 2018.
